Trip along the Coast to Priene, Bodrum, and Fetiye, with Rob and Pat Shields (First Set)
Back One Level -- Back to First Page| This trip took us along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts mostly to Priene, Bodrum, and Fetiye. I went with Rob Shields and his brother Pat Shields, probably in the spring of 1966. It was a longer trip probably a little over a week. The bus trip back lasted about 25 hours and I remember a very surreal middle of the night stop for an hour or so in Afyon which is built on the edge of a tall sprire-like mountain. |
